Why are my spins or my artist's spins not matching what the station confirmed?

Why are my spins or my artist's spins not matching what the station confirmed?

Song detections (spins) can be missed for reasons such as reception issues, station downtime, bleed over, mix shows, ads or if the song play time is shorter than the required threshold for a spin.

All versions of the song that are receiving airplay must be encoded into the BDS system. Submit Music to BDS.

Please email music.support@mrcentertainment.com with the selector or music master report with the exact times, dates and call letters for our team to investigate.

Airplay discrepancies from Mon-Thu must be submitted by end-of-day on Friday. Airplay discrepancies from Fri-Sun must be submitted by 10am Pacific on Monday (8am Pacific for Country) to be considered for chart credit. For Monday Holiday weeks, the deadline to submit any Fri-Sun discrepancies will be extended to Tuesday at 8am Pacific.

What counts as a spin?
The current process of encoding music into the BDS system for monitoring of airplay breaks each song into 6-second segments. At least 12 of these segments must hit for a detect to be counted. So at least 72 seconds of a song needs to air for BDS to count it as a detection.
