What are the eligible product configurations for inclusion in Billboard Charts?

Album Configurations eligible:

  1. Standard CD
  2. Standard Cassette
  3. Vinyl (varying sizes/shapes including 3”, 5”, 7”, 10” and 12”; inclusive of picture-discs, color variants)
  4. Digital Download Album
  5. SACD
  6. Blu-Ray Audio
  7. DVD-Audio
  8. Mini-CD (3" CD)
Also:
  1. Multi-disc packages containing more than one of the above, such as CD/DVD, CD/Blu-Ray Audio, CD/vinyl, etc.
  2. In addition, releases containing an audio album product in one configuration, with a corresponding music video release on a second configuration, are chart-eligible.
Warning
A configuration not listed here may still be reported to Luminate, but won't be Billboard chart-eligible.

Single configurations eligible:

  1. Standard CD
  2. Standard Cassette
  3. Vinyl (varying sizes/shapes including 3”, 5”, 7”, 10” and 12”; inclusive of picture-discs, color variants)
  4. Flexi disc
  5. Digital Download Single (multiple tracks)
  6. Digital Track
