What are the chart rules for the Billboard airplay charts for Mexico?

There are four airplay charts for Mexico available in BDSradio. Go to Charts / Format Chart / Mexico. Please contact music.support@mrcentertainment.com if you do not have access to Mexico in BDSradio.

  1. All Billboard Mexico airplay charts are based on Monday through Sunday data.
  2. Billboard Mexico airplay charts are ranked by audience impressions.
  3. Debuting songs with a release date older than one year are marked recurrent. 
  4. Charting songs whose Initial chart date was over a year ago are marked recurrent.

Mexico overall airplay

Billboard chart is 50 positions deep.

Captures all music played on monitored Mexican radio stations regardless of language or genre.

 

Pop Espanol

Billboard chart is 30 positions deep

Is only for Spanish-language songs that are not already charting on Popular and vice versa. If a song debuts on both lists simultaneously, the format on which it is debuting higher is the one it remains on.
Non-qualifying songs are marked as recurrent in BDSradio.

 

Ingles

Billboard chart is 30 positions deep

Is only for non-Spanish-language songs; all debuting Spanish songs are marked recurrent in BDSradio. 

 

Popular

Billboard chart is 30 positions deep

Is only for Spanish-language songs that are not already charting on Pop Espanol and vice versa.
Non-qualifying songs are marked as recurrent in BDSradio.

To see the stations reporting to each chart go to Charts / Panels in BDSradio or click on the number of stations in the header of the chart itself
